Kenyon Woods Middle School Orchestra

Intermediate Orchestra is open to any 6th grade student who participated in the Beginning Orchestra in 5th grade. Intermediate Orchestra acts as the bridge between elementary and middle school orchestra instruction. Focus is placed on expanding the range of notes the student is able to read/play, learning more advanced vocabulary and techniques, and building ensemble skills. Participation in this ensemble includes one in-school lesson as well as one after-school rehearsal each week. The Intermediate Orchestra performs in three concerts per year.
